about

As Americans move further and further apart--seeing the worst in each other and allowing politicians and oligarchs to define our world as they see fit. Violence is creeping in. We are beginning to look for it--to crave it. We need to eradicate co-workers and neighbors turned other. We are ready to kill over branding and marketing we see as cultural and as heritage and kin. How long will it be before an American city or state is uttered in the same breath as Bosnia, Rwanda or Syria?

lyrics

Sons of the soil
Look what we’ve made you do
Affinity bleeding spite
Delirium planting dreams
The type that only bloom
In our bones

Are you the son of God
Or just too far gone

Nothing here adds up
In discrete time
You’re reaching for your gun
Searching for our door
But you’ll use the window
Then shatter all our bones

Are you the son of God
Or just too far gone

Friends and neighbors [Are] executioners at heart
